I have the AVCR as well and in addition to the super great tuning ability You also have the options of showing up to four of the engines parameters at the same time like boost , speed, tps, injector duty.

From what I know, the AEM, the Apexi, and the HKS EVC.

The Greddy Profec B Spec II is also designed for boost pressures over 30psi.

The manual states that it's rated for up to 43.5 psi.

The AMS-1000 is also a nice boost controller. It has the ability to do Boost per RPM and gear. I could leave the line at 8psi in 2step, first have of the track have 25-30psi and the back half have full boost say 50ish.

I like the Greddy E0-1. It has performed very well for me for several years, trouble free.
Here is several pics and logs of it:

+1 on the AEM Trueboost. Easy to use, affordable, lots of functions, holds boost like a ****, and with additional sensor you can run way over 30psi. I believe the sensor it comes with it goes up to 27psi.

Ive always wondered the advantages of an ebc over an mbc. They seem to be a much flatter boost curve? Seems like if you eliminate as much taper as possible towards the upper revs you could gain a bit of topend power, if Im not mistaken?

We actually dyno'ed a car with a normal taper (22psi dropping to 18psi) then with corrected taper (22psi across the board) and it picked up 20whp.

if you can run 22psi up top, you can run more boost at peake torque , and then taper to 22. if you run a flat 22, your giving up all the midrange on a stock sized turbo. I don't believe in flat boost curves, not sure why everyone wants them.

Will you please expand on this a bit for us MBC blockheads. Are you saying that with a properly setup EBC I can run higher boost in the midrange and then taper it down at redline? Maybe I'm not getting it. But, it sounds interesting. Are all EBC's capable of tailoring the boost delivery curve in this fashion, or only certain ones? Thanks!
