Stock oil cooler?

How good is the stock evo oil cooler?

Does it have a built in thermostat that opens once at operating temp?

No I don't beleive so. It actually kind of hampers the startup / heatup period. It does it's job fairly well.

It does have some type of thermostat in it. I forget what temp. the oil gets sent to the cooler but Tomei makes a oil thermostat killer which would just keep the oil flowing to the cooler. Its meant for summer track days(road racing) to keep your oil temps. down. You must take it out in winter months or your oil would never warm up.
