SC3431vsPT61

Ok guys these are my options : SC3431 which is basically a 58trim "which is what ETS uses" or the PT61 which is a T4 instead of t3/t4. Both are rated at 450 on pump gas but im wondering which would be better in 1/4th on pump gas? I'm thinking the SC3431 because of spool up but i could be wrong??? Anyone know what i should go with.

SC3431 / Compressor / Turbine
hp Name w/Dia w/Induc w/Exduc w/Trim Inlet Bearing A/R w/Size w/Induc w/Exduc
545 SC-3431E 56mm 2.230" 2.950" 57 3" 360 0.48 T31 2.559" 2.228"

PT61
680 PT-61-A 61mm 2.416" 3.227" 56 3" / 2" 360 R .58 .68 T04 2.795" 2.437"

if youre looking for 1/4 mile the bigger the turbo the better off youll be. i mean if youre looking for a street/strip car id go with the smaller but not too much that way itll still pack a punch in the 1/4

The ETS 61mm is such a sick turbo/kit combination. In all honestly, the turbo lag on this kit is NOT bad at all. JR at ETS did a great job in designing the kit to allow for a broad power band for all their turbo choices, even their larger ones. I just took my car on the highway again and it still puts a smile on face when i rip it through 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear. The 4th gear is what really amazes me because it pulls just as hard as the other gears. Remember, my car is still on pump gas. I will be tuned for methanol in about 2 weeks. I can't wait to feel the difference it will make at 30psi from the already powerful pump gas tune at 24psi.
If you are looking for the best 1/4 miles trap speeds, the 61mm is the turbo you want to go with. Then all you need is the driver mod.

BTW, the 61mm is also comes in T3 form. The T3 is the one that I have on my car.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. This thread will provide you with information on the ETS T3 61mm kit, if you haven't seen it already. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&highlight=DTM

Why dont you just use a SC61 which is a T3 version of the PT61, SC61 is basically a non ball bearing 35R. This way you can have a faster spool then you would with the PT61 and make more power then the SC34.
