hks 272 mivec cams installed and dyno'd!

Well today i went to ams in gathersburg, MD to get cams installed and dyno tuned. put down some decent numbers hoping to get in the 11's with this new power.

mods are
aem intake
hallman mbc @ 22psi
walbro 255
ams licp
turbo xs fmic
Megan tbe exhaust
Megan exhaust manifold
megan o2 housing
arp headstuds
hks 272 mivec camshafts
arp headstuds
turbosmart bov
ecu flash


stock clutch
stock uicp
93 octane
363.5/363.5

Seem about like the S1's with a little more torque for 22psi of boost. Kreionic made 370/351 on that dyno with the S1's but a bunch more boost on the low end.

Good solid numbers though, cant wait to see some times.

if you have a fuel pump you can run more boost.

great numbers... i almost have the same things as you except i have injen intake w/ucip still deciding on which cams to get... just wondering why you only ran that much boost and not more? knocks problems?... good luck with breaking 11s

i only ran 22 psi because apparently my oil light keeps dinging on an off. they dont know if its a oil pump failure or just a bad sensor . hopefully its just a sensor. the tuner said it most likely is because if the pump wasnt pushin no oil the motor wouldnt make no power. soon as i get it diaganosed and straightened up ill be swapping an uicp and a clutch and get a return. next step is meth or a fp green. 400 whp on pump gas with quick spool would be sick.

oh ok thanks for clearing it up... and who ever said megan racing parts suck was definitely wrong because i ran their full exhaust like you and love it and the way it sounds....

yea i had the exhaust for quite some time now, and i have had a ton of compliments from people on the looks and sound. i think i had one guy tell me its ebay junk. under his hood was all arc'd out. go figure right. lol
