cv joint boot

cv joint boot

i ripped my cv joint boot , bottoming out on a bump , the brake air deflector bent up on a large pothole , and i didnt notice when making a sharp left turn i was ripping the boot , anyone know where to get a oem boot , or is there a repair kit available ,?? from what vender?? thanks for any help

You should look at part outs and post in the for sale section for a used one. That's what I did when mines ripped and started to go bad. I paid 100 bucks only, which is better than 500.

you ripped the boot when you bottomed out. Are you not worried about the damage you might have caused to the joint itself when you bottomed out?

no the cv joint is fine , not making any unuasul noise but i am rorried about the ripped boot , looking for a way to fix or repair it, any help??
