Nice to hear about GOALS. That's the best way to get there. Good luck with the new build Al. I'm sure that when Spring gets here and the tracks start opening, you'll forget about all of the Winter's crap you had to deal with. Best of luck.

I dont get it you say you love the subi then you say you love the evo but enjoy beating it with your subi. I dont get you. Dont take this personal. But if you really want to go 8's you need another driver. Or the car needs to drop another 80 pounds.

No doubt, I am a man stuck in a void of confusion between the Evo and STI and what a delightful void it is. Honestly, I love them both for different reasons. Different kind of car.

We'll see what happens come March !

I'm really in trouble then because I like Cobras, Vettes, Vipers, EVO's, STIs, Supras, Engine swapped FD's, Porsche, etc etc

I'm not an amazing driver, but I was wondering, I normally can't downshift to 1st unless I'm almost stationary. How did you downshift 1st at like 9k or wherever it is you would shift to third in ur car?

With the Shep Trans the shifts are very smooth and when I am shifting I and trying to shift very fast - it glides right in there if you push it hard enough

Glad to see you motivated Al. The other two small things we spoke about left here just a few minutes ago.

Let me know if there is something else you need as you go along.

I get a kick out of the guys here talking about your weight or your driving. From what I see, non of them have gone 10's let alone know what it takes to go 9.50's. Get off Al's ***.

Why is there no footage of the blown motor, you usually always have the cam mounted during your runs to capture everything. I would love to see that footage if its available
