So from what i have read,its not the filter but the piping itself..Is there any way to connect the filter,to the stock plastic pipng??My wife not knowing any better asked a friend if he knew what she should buy me..He suggested an intake knowing that i was getting tuned in a few weeks..instead of asking someone who knows about the evo..She asked him..he suugested k&n,she bought it..And now i have no time to get another intake before saturday..Im kinda in a bind..Any help appreciated..Justin

 

If you look in the pipe there's a baffle, or something to that affect. Try your best to cut it out. There's a local guy in our regional forums who modified his.
