Question BOV advice needed

I've been searching and reading and this topic has been the most help so far:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=209640&page=3

I still dont really know much about turbo specifics but after reading it through i do know that my current set-up is far from ideal if i have not completely mis-interpreted the info in the topic.

The EVO VIII i bought came with a Injen air intake & was then ECUteked so as far as i understand now that has been done properly, tuning after installing the Injen.

But the stock BOV was kept and not replaced. I also now know that the stock BOV is not even nearly suited for what i have now> I run about 22 PSI sometime peaking to 24 PSI max.

If i understand correctly i need a recirculating BOV ideally, wich can properly deal with the 22PSI-24PSI max.

So the question is what is the best BOV to take with the current set-up keeping the Injen intake!?

What type & what brand would i need to be looking for? I dont care much about the sound that's just a plus. Most important i find a properly setup and running engine.

Probably not neccesary at all but here's a pic of the current setup.

Thanks in advance

I highly recommend the APS dual port bov.

Check with chris at JNZtuning.

Holds boost like a champ.

The only other one I would recommend is the new Tial recirc valve but it is not even out yet so I really don't know how it will perform, but if it is like anything else they make you can't go wrong with them.

I would agree with brad on the APS, however if you are looking to spend less money with similar results, and you don't plan on boosting much more than you currently are, I'd say get an IX bov and stick that in. I have one on my car, and after having a forge, greddy, and stock VIII I like this one the best. If I ever need to run more than the 26psi I'm running right now, I'll upgrade to the APS.
