which would you choose....

from this selection of rods and pistons. please vote and tell me why.

and if anyone knows exactly what hp each will take, please post that as well.and just for referance, im not looking for anything to drastic like Crower, so this is why i have narrowed it down to this selection.

This is just going to turn into people's preference. It is like clutches, everyone has one they like but doesn't always mean it is better then another. I personally like wiesco and eagle because i have used their stuff before on LS motors. But that is not to say Ross and Manley are any worse.

very good answer. im still trying to find what kind of power these will all hold. i see on AMS's website the manley/ross combo will hold like 650whp i think it said. now the wiseco/eagle are cheaper, but will they hold as much?

I truthfully really like JE pistons for the SR20, i am sure they make a set for 4g63 too. I know they are expensive but those special coated TTP pistons look like the ****.

All of the options you listed are good. Its just a matter of preference. You hear good/bad about all of them. Personally I run Wiseco/Eagle in my gvr4.

ok just ordered wiseco pistons and eagle h-beam rods. now i need to find somewhere to get stock new bearings. anyone know where i can get them cheap?

AMS has clevite bearings, will these rods accept these bearings? where i bought them from, they said they use stock, is there any benifit to these clevite?

Manley rods and wiseco pistons is a really nice combination. JE and CP pistons are also nice pistons option too.
