HKS EVC V or Apexi AVC-R?
I am caught between these two boost controllers. Can anyone tell me which one is the better of the two. I have read sport compact cars review on the two but they seem equal in their own ways. This is a street can and always will be. Which one is easier to install. Could anyone who has either one of these give me some feedback on them and which one they perfer?
Thanks
Chris
Thanks
Chris
I have used, installed and sold both.
The EVC is newer and I prefer it's display. It is finer; not as pixelated. The EVC which reads in psi also has an extra feature you may program to assist with maximum spool.
The EVC also has one unit to install under the hood for both boost sensor and solenoid.
I think the AVC-R is a bit flashy, myself. I imagine it is going to be superceded here soon.
