Anybody ever use one of these for a cam or timing belt job?

Where does it go?? does it sit on the belt between the gears and prevent them from moving?

Yeah, it looks like it cinches down with those black nobs and sits between the cam gears. I think you'd still need to zip tie the belt to the gears in a cam swap - if the tool would be any good, since you'd have to swap one cam at a time.

The more I think about it .... It might not work at all .... unless, with both gears tied to the belt, you could swap out the first cam. Then with everything else still tied together, you might have a little more stability ... than just tying things overhead to the stabilizer bar like I currently do. You might also be able to avoid relaxing so much of the tension on the belt.

It's probably only useful for a timing belt swap.

It just looked interesting - AND it's on SALE
