where did you hear that from?

i've been running an ACT for 42k miles so far. i've had 320whp the first 36k miles of that, and now i'm at 500whp and its still holding strong... oh and i give customers rides all the time. hard launches, a dozen or so track days, autocrossing, you name it (except drap strip)

crap performance... psh!

ACT clutches are not crap for performance and can't be beat for the money. The only thing is the plate is so thick that you get locked out under fast shifting.

You will probably need a new clutch once you start going over 360whp with agressive driving. It all really depends on what type of driving you do. Everything depends on the driving. Stock trannies can hold up to about 480wtq or so.
