Wide Band Oxygen Sensor

Hello,
Right now I'm looking to get a Wide Band 02 sensor. I'm stuck to decide in which one I should get. I will be needing it by July 30 so if anyone can give me options. I really dont want to spend it on DIY ones. I'm looking more into the real nice pieces such as Motec or the new UEGO Sensor from AEM. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You can always try the FJO wideband. I just got my delivered a week ago. Just deciding on what aftermarket exhaust I want before putting it on since I need to weld a bung to it.

Hey Poknatcha,, what does Williamsons say about aftermarket parts? Are they cool with them......Metro basically said an exhaust would void total warrenty,, even an open air element would?

Maybe i need to get service in Lincoln

HEY HEY HEY, why messing up my thread! lol.... You know by law your warranty can not be voided by just a bolt on. The only thing they can change the warranty on is on the actual part that you replaced!

So, are you about to start tuning that Evo VII?

A new meter is just now coming to market, the LM-1 from Innovate Motorsports. At $349 (INCLUDING WIDEBAND SENSOR and assuming no group-buy discount), it's the best bang for the buck yet. And it may also be the best that money can buy. I say this after reading a thread on another forum: Great new WideBand O2 unit!. At first people there seemed VERY skeptical, until the meter's chief designer/engineer joined the discussion.

My advice: Borrow a wideband until you can get the LM-1.

Edit: fixed spelling.

I can't see how Williamson's would get upset about a wideband O2 because it's just a tool used to measure how much O2 is in your exhaust. I was told by the tech there that an exhaust and intake wouldn't void the warranty. I'm almost to the point where I don't even really care about the warranty anymore. That's why I plan on getting an AFC and boost controller soon.

Well a lot of supra guys like it and they usually don't worry about spending money on their cars so if there was something better out there I'm sure most would get it. According to the webpage the sensor should last up to 25,000 miles.

When most of the Supra guys were buying their widebands a few years ago, there probably wasn't a cheaper alternative. The situation is very different today. But it's your money and many will be impressed when you tell them you have a Motec Lambda Meter.
