Tcase Blown!!!??? help

so im driving home after picking my car up at the shop for a tranny swap. and im on the highway doing right around 55MPH. out of nowhere the front of the car dips like i slammed on the brakes so i said to myself something is wrong... as i start to pull into the middle lane to get over all the wheels lock up on me and the car skids across another lane of traffic and i end up in the middle of an entrance ramp. so i try to move the car and it feels like im tryin to go with the E-brake on full. so i let it sit for a sec, and finaly got the car to move to a parking lot. while i was moving it i could hear some nasty grinding sound... how would the Tcase go just driving on the high way?? i didnt get on it or anything just cruisen... thanks for any answers

Sounds like they didn't put any fluid in the T-Case. Check it to make sure, then get the shop to replace it.

we had a guy come into mitsu dealer here in cali for the same thing and it was due to the lack fluid in the T-Case. if i was you i would check the fluid and most likely there to blame if they did the tranny swap.

Sure, but make them pay for it. Its not your fault.. thats why shops have insurance.
