Stock IX turbo boost goes from 1.3 to 1.0 to .80 bar. at roughly 3800rpm to 5k. this is a new turbo installed from the dealer just got the car back today and boost gains and loss is really odd any suggestions. Thanks

 

Check all your IC pipes and hoses.

 

yeah i was thinking that could it be the ecu

 

If the turbo was installed at the dealership, why not go back and have the mechanic that installed the turbo do a follow up check? Didn't they road test the car?

 

yeah they supposedly did a test drive on it but i'm in WV so yeah some stealerships don't even know what an evo is let alone know how it works

 

Did you pull the airbox and check the hose connections to the boost control solenoid? Also check the reference hose that is on the compressor housing discharge nipple, and the hose that hooks up to the nipple on the MAF tube, as well as the tightness of the hoses on the diverter valve and the wastegate actuator.

 

check all your ic pipe connections and lines going from turbo and wastegate to the boost control solenoid.
