can you tell me why this tc has a breather filter on it... i havnt ran across anything like this..lol

I'm not 100% sure, but most transfer cases and rear diffs have a bleeder valve to allow air to escape if needed. I don't know if Evos have them though. Could be that someone broke it off and put a breather filter for a quick fix
