really interesting, thanks for your info. im in agreement with you on all points, weve seen the 1.23 work the best for the 47R also

the S472 is a much smaller turbo than the 47R you were running before, and its actually just a 71.095mm compressor but its 7 blade so moves much more air than the equivalent 6 blade compressor, and probably generating a much better powerband with the smaller turbine/properly matched compressor. It would be interesteing to see if you get any gains at all with the 116mm precision turbo?

you should talk to bullseye about taking a S474 and turning the compressor down to 72mm...

we will be running Outlaw Drag Radial this yr so there are no rules anymore besides it has to be a radial tire and gasoline not alki. The turbo we will be trying out is the new billet wheel from precision that has a 114.5 mm inducer so I hope we gain more power, hehehe.

you guys go wayyy too fast. its difficult to imagine what that car will feel like at full boost on c16. i think that billett wheel might be a borg warner compressor too?

we are lucky to have really realllllllllly good employees working here, and they all have lots and lots of practice. when youre a good welder working alongside other welders that are even better than you, everyone gets better as a result. We've also had to develop some innovative techniques along the way. we've tried many different kinds of tungsten, gases, even different tungsten mfg's for the same type of tungsten, different welding rods, different angles on the tip of the tungsten, different size flat spots lol. everyone has their own style, it just takes time and influence to develop and hours of seat time at the welding bench

i have a complete turbo here but havent tested it out yet, we're going to try it out on a drag supra. should be interesting, ill let you know how it does if you would like?

for what you guys are doing, perhaps a divided t6 flange with 4 cyls in one side and 4 cyls in the other could work really well. i know the firing order on a lot of v8s gets really crazy tho if you try to properly pair the cyls

that would be sweet if you could let me know how that turbo works out, and I allready have all the piping for hot and cold done for the new turbo. Precision sent us an empty centersection and housing for the mock up. Comes in handy when you are sponsered by them. http://www.precisionturbo.net/ bottom left blue mustang is ours Tim aqquired the nick name Tim the Laser Beam Meagher last season by cutting 16 .003-.009 lights on a .400 tree within 3 events. Everyone in our class said we were cheating with some kind of laser that reads the lights. If people only knew we test on the dyno with a full real tree pluged into the dyno, hehehe

the BW compressor map looks sweet compared to the GT3076r even at 35 lbs of boost where as the Garret falls off at like 24lbs

i said that because the 3071 at 3076 at say 22 psi are close to the same hp with a 400rpm lag difference- its at high boost like 28-30 where the 3076 shines past
