For those (crazies) who did the boost pill removal / change to control boost according to the drill sizes below, please can you tell me if it is possible for me increase boost some more. I went for a 1mm size hole and got 26 Psi on race fuel and a reflash. I am trying to hit 28 Psi with my new S1 cams, intercooler, Walbro and 720 injectors. My car is a evo 9 with stock turbo and Ecu.

Just to recap:

#60 / 0.0400in. / 1.02mm
#59 / 0.0410in. / 1.04mm
#58 / 0.0420in. / 1.07mm
#57 / 0.0430in. / 1.09mm

If you just want to make enough head room for pump gas boost (20-24lbs), use either the #57 or #58 drill bit. The #58 drill bit will give you a little more head room then the #57.

If you want to be able to run pump gas boost and race gas boost (25+lbs), use either the #59 or #60 drill bit. Again, the #60 drill bit will give you a little more head room then the #59.

Would trying a 0.9mm pill do the trick?

just dont use a boost pill, take it out completely
