Can anyone tell me what the two circle/dots "pin looking" part in the transmission case? It is located towards the middle left (west side) of the picture. There are two of these circle things. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

I believe they are ball bearings installed to block off an oiling port. After the factory drills the holes they need to plug the ends up.
