that is a pretty broad question!!!

What type of power are you looking for?

I used a AMS 50 trim turbo kit that produced 500 whp, could use a 30R...

Too broad of a question without any knowledge of current mods

i would go green, 50 trim, 30R shoud all be good. But this is a broad question depends on what type of power u want low end or all on top. When u know that and what is quick spool too u. Also HTA 35R is a good turbo

another choice could be Evo 9 tubo with meth. This would be a cheaper upgrade and u would see great spool and power. But if u don't like meth then green all the way

you can do that with the stock turbo, if you had one with the 10.5 hotside, or a IX turbo, or a Green

I had similar setup about a month ago. I put down a little over 400 on 93+meth using a FP Green. If you are interested in going the route of a Green give me a PM.

So, you want a quick spooling 400 WHP on 93 pump + Meth, right? Is this just a street sled or will you be taking part in some sanctioned competitive events? How quick spooling do you want the thing to be exactly? Are we talking 24# by 2800 RPM, or 22# by 3400 RPM, or full boost by 4000 RPM?

Do you want a bolt-on turbo? I'll let you in on a secret: there are no truly fast spooling, and by fast I mean 24# by 2800 RPM larger than stock "Kit" turbos(including the entire BB 30R series, as well as the BB 50-T) available for 2.0 liter Evo applications. It really depends on your definition of "fast spooling".

The British aftermarket, ball bearing cartridge 16G's and Green happen to be prohibitively expensive(at least for my budget). None of the larger than stock turbos available in the states can be truly called "fast spooling", at least by my definition. The BB 50-T and the undivided housing 3071 are just sluggish spoolers in contrast to the journal bearing TiAl 16G turbos(TME, JDM VIII RS, JDM IX RS-Magnesium).

Most users like the Green with the 10.5 housing. I really wasn't to happy with the 22-24 PSI spoolup by 3400 RPM, myself. So, I swapped the 10.5 for a 9.0 housing on my personal Green. Eventually, maybe I'll get the BB upgrade from EVO 400, but, for the time being, the 9.0 housing will just have to do. Once we remove some fuel from the map, and resolve some WG preload issues which I am experiencing with the FP WGA, I figure that my Green/9.0 will spoolup at about 22-23 PSI by 3000 RPM(unofficially).

EDIT: Lastly, I realize that in all fairness I should have included the twin scroll 3071 offered by Full Race, as well as the new HTA version of the 3076. Perhaps either one of these two turbos might suit your needs.

Green or twin scroll 30R. I'd personally go with the green because of price and the fact it is strictly bolt on.
