wats up people so as i am reading after 3 weeks of cam install that alot of people get a SES lite which was a p0300 code well i threw the code this morning while i let it warm up wat can i do 2 get rid of this problem and is it harmful

 

interesting i hope its an easy fix.. reason im haveing mine installed instead of doin myself

 

mine was done at a known shop but this issue is happenin 2 mostly everyone with these cams

No problem here. I had mine done by TTP.

 

hmm well some people have had this issue im going 2change my spark plugs hope that fixes the problem

 

i work at extreme motorsports and we install cams all the time i installed my hks cams not to long ago i actually head no matter what cam you have installed you will throw this code but you can erase it and it will go away your car is not really missfiring the ecu thinks it is because the different idle and such you cars is fine just erase it and go about your mary way.

Id try and log it to see knock counts, if there is few, then the car tripped the random misfire code. But i have cosworth cams and i didnt trip that code... Are you tuned yet?

 

It's random, it happens it may happen again. I notice it alot with cosworth cams.
The HKS tends to do it alot less.

tOOn it... mine was straight in the summer, and when it got cold I had to adjust the cold start.
