what else do I need?

I have an 06 IX & need to know if there is anything I will need other to go with the mods I am doing. The mods I that I will be installing are as follws.

Injen intake & intercooler pipe kit
AMS TBE (w/test pipe)
SS O2 housing
ported/coated hotside
Megan exhaust manifold (yes I know it's crap)
AEM UEGO wideband
AEM Tru-Boost boost controller
BC272 cams
Shifter bushings (base & underhood)
Ingals engine damper
Agency Power motor mounts
ACT street clutch
SS clutch line
Dyno tune after all installs are complete

I have heard that the stock IX fuel pump & injectors will be O.K. for this, but I'd like other opinions. If there is anything else that I would NEED with this setup please let me know. All opinions are welcome.

I would suggest breaking in the clutch before you dyno the car

I want the AMS intercooler, but I'm going to have to wait since the car is down in need of a clutch & I still need to come up with some money to get everything competed as is. The intercooler will be the next mod on the list when I start to get back ahead of the game. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something I really NEED for all of this to work correctly. I was mostly concerned about fuel delivery, but I've been told the stock stuff is good enough for all of this. I would like to do valve springs, but I don't want to pull the head so I'll hold out on those for a while & leave the redline stock for now.

I'd do a fuel pump too, it's relatively cheap and can't hurt.

I don't want to spend the extra money on the fuel pump if I don't NEED it yet. I'm Already behind as it is. The only things I still have to get are the boost controller & ported hotside. I chose the BC cams cause they were very inexpensive & I wanted to go ahead & do the cams. The only negative comments I found were from people who don't have them. People that have the BC cams seem to like them. I think I'm going to hold out on the meth till last.

I wonder this myself. Several shops have said it is fine to dyno the car with a new clutch, after motor builds, etc. I would think its abusive but as I said a have emailed a few of the big shops on evom. and all have said it is fine. Something about the dyno is not full load like the road etc.

Also why would you add the Megan exhaust manifold if you wrote......(yes I know it's crap). I think you should save your money. BTW, if my opinion matters I would do cams first before meth. It makes more sense. Also, I would do a fuel pump since its a cheap way to guarantee some safety with your car.

I got the Megan before I started reading about its quality. I wanted a tubular manifold for looks pretty much, but I can't afford something as nice as the Full Race manifold. Hopefully I'll have good luck with it as there are some out there with no problems. To be safe I will break in the clutch first.

I would scrap most of that list.....

Get the TBE, METH, MBC, and TUNE. If you want more power add an FP Green.

Most of those items aren't needed and won't provide much gain.

Cams are still iffy at best and the stock IC piping is plenty good for 50LBS of airflow. With meth you wont need a FMIC, FP, or INJ.

Hey lets buy all these great new power making parts and then ignore the most important part of a turbo car - FUEL!

$100.00 for pump or $3500 for motor.......hmm? How about ditch the stiffy since your getting motor mounts (not sure why u need both?) and that pays for the fuel pump

As far as the manifold - Ported stocker maybe as a better option? was tested against different tubular manifolds with full race being the only one that makes more and not by much to justify the hefty price tag......it amazes me how many people prefer "form" over "function" - but yet want a fast car?

I have a few less mods than you and my stock inj. are max'd - so its not always true that the stock inj. are fine with anything on a stock turbo....and for me meth will never be an option. Im going real big injectors with the plan to maybe eventually run that good ole corn liquer - maybe.
