My friend has this problem:

06 mr w/ 6500miles

So after ice racing last weekend I got the catalyst system efficiency below threshold code and my car doesn't boost properly only going to .5 bar now.

I've checked all my couplers to make sure they're tight and I looked inside the air box to make sure theres no sign of snow. It doesnt look like there's any blow through residue around the injectors.

Any suggestions? I have an appointment at the mitsu dealership since its under warranty but the dealership makes me nervous...i don't trust em to work on my evo

I'll bet if you get the car somewhere warm and let it thaw for a few hours it will fix itself.

 

For a car with only 6500 miles unmodded, get it fixed under warranty, especially if you know the code. If it keeps coming back, try a different dealership. Otherwise search on here. Boost leak check it if you have time, Good luck.
