Profec EBC problem

I installed an older model profec EBC. Everything works, only prob is no matter what setting hi or low and whatever way the boost knob is at it still does not go above 10 PSi. I also tried adjusting the gain on the back, still nothing. I have the switch set it AC instead of EXt is that correct? Any help , Please my car is so slow now.

Update: Blown fuse.... it works now.

Another problem. It hits 20 all the way, but at around 5500 it starts fighting for air, (can hear air making a bogging sound as if not enough air is going in)

Could this be that the gain is up to high?
Its set at 20 PSI all the way to redline. I have heard people running this with no problems. Any ideas? or do I just need to turn the gain down? Not familiar what the gain does either

The "gain" setting allows you to obtain steady boost at high rpms. If you have it too low, you won't be able to hold it steady at 20psi to redline, it will come down, taper out, fluctuates etc. If you have it too high, it will cause spikes.

Not knowing if you have an aftermarket intake. If you do, try replacing it with the stock one see if it runs better. If you don't have an intake, try putting a hose with a vacuum restrictor in see if it solves the problem.

Mods are as follwing:

Bushur Cone Filter
Apex AFC
Forge mtrsptrt recirc BOV

So you think the cone filter is the problem, but other people have ran this b4 so I am not sure why its only me with the problems
