Car sputters and bogs at higher RPM?
I did a 2.3 build about 10k miles ago. I've had 0300 problems since I've owned the car, but I got a creader and it solves it, kind of. Recently, when I floor it it will feel like it misfires, or sputters for a second. It feels like an injector isn't working..or something.. I don't know. Now, 100% of the time when I'm hammering it, when it hits 5000 rpms, it just bogs. the car drives perfectly otherwise, but the second I'm heavy on the pedal and it hits higher RPM, it bogs badly. anyone have any idea? is my car in imminent danger of something serious? or is it just an injector or something?
Change your plugs. Sounds like you are getting boost cut or spark blow out. I personally would recommend one step colder plugs if you don't have tem already. It could be something else as well. Do you run an EMS? If you do, it could be pulling timming due to knock or detonation. My advice would be to start with the plugs. I am sure you will get plenty of suggestions here in a bit. Good luck!
Do you have anything for your ignition? HKS Dli or anything like that? Thatll help...
Most likely your plugs like previously stated... If they lasted you 10k youre in good shape.
