I've encountered some strange behavior with my transmission. Please bear with me as the description is pretty subjective.

After an autocross run last weekend, all of the weight suddenly went away from the shifting action. For 50 or so thousand miles the shifter has had a certain amount of resistance and heft. Now it literally just falls into the gates with no feel.

All of the gears still engage correctly and I don't have problems shifting at speed. Tranny fluid has been changed regularly (10k miles).

Is this something that folks have seen before?
