1000cc or 850cc

Ok I am starting my Top secret Project moleasses,

Can someone explain the advantages of getting 1000cc instead of 850cc injectors?

Stock turbo....for now

Im getting other little goodies aswell, I just wanted to clarify the difference in them, besides the obvious cc difference

The 850s will be perfect if you plan on a GT3076 or smaller.. only when you get to 28 pounds and up on a GT35 will you need 1000cc injectors

for 550+ you are gonna need 1000cc injectors and definitely a fuel pump, maybe even buschurs double pumper

From: Still in NC!! Loving retired life!!
I was running the stockers in my 05 without a problem until I put the HD wastegate actuator from forge on it. Finally hit the fuel cut. My mods to that point where as follows: 264I/ 272E cams, AEM Tru time cam gears, FMIC, Injen intake and UICP, AMS LICP, Bushcur 3" TBE, o2 housing, tubular manifold, ARP head studs, blitz SBC i-D set to 20psi holding till redline, Cusco twin disc clutch, also it was about 40 degrees out the morning I hit the fuel cut. Felt like hitting a curb!

You can run 1000's on a stock turbo.......there is no magic boost # or a set amount of boost where you cant run one injector but can run another. I will be running 850's on my stock turbo, stock cam car - my stockers are max'd and I am just getting big ones for whatever I do in the future.

I wouldn't just get no name injector - if your purchasing injectors be sure they come from a reputable place. PTE and FIC use delphi injectors which are a lot better than lucas style. I know FIC test each injector and matches a set that all flow identical, this is all very important if you want to keep the motor from going kaboom. I am sure PTE does the same as well.......

My theory is never go cheap on the fuel system of a turbo car, its the most vital thing to keep the car alive.
