battery/alternator problems

I have a 06 MR and it seems like my battery or alternator isn't putting out enough power or staying stable my voltage gauge bounces from 12 to 14 and when I turn up the radio it flicks and so does my speedometer ..... Any one else having problems I mean you think I just need to change my battery?

What do you mean it flicks? More details.

Is this a problem right now or are you just diagnosing symptoms of a possible problem in the future? I mean my gauges dim a little too for a second when I turn on something electronic or even the A/C for that matter, but most people don't notice it.

try to check the battery connections. Make sure they are tight! And check the oxidations too while you ther. If its any you might wanna clean it off. If the problems is still there ,then go to the service. Unstable power can be dangarous for your engine.
If you have a grounding kit , get rid of it.

do u have an aftermarket radio and amplifier that is drawing to much power? if u r basicly stock its either a loose conection or ur alternator. the job of the battery is to stabalize voltage while vehicles is running and to start the car. id say as long as ur battery has enough voltage to start ur car then it is definetly ur alternator
