alright, so I am running 272/280 comp cams. Idle is typically 900 - 1000 rpms. It does lope. But...i have been seeing quite a bit of it jumping from 900 - 1300/1500 rpms. Would this be normal? It quite consistently starts going from 900 - 1200 or so after 5 - 10 seconds at a light.

Also, now when starting it , it sort of gives a thud sound from underneath. not sure what the hell that is. is that typical with cams?
