Congrats on the turbo and motor build, but i doubt the cash spent is something to be happy about. BUT you will love the power!!!

Don't even go about cash spending I may have to kick myself in the head like miniman.

I'm looking forward to power though.

Your car is very nice. I was at DTM the night that you were supposed to pick it up when the oil pressure clearly wasn't right. I think you are going the right direction fixing it correctly now rather than risking a bunch of other parts waiting for catostrophic failure.

Money spent is rediculous but I'm sure you'll love the end result. I myself am waiting to get my engine back from a 2.3 build, Have the ETS eco turbo kit with a 35r-S.housing waiting... Both my buddies just purchased a 35r and the other a 61trim. Good luck and post up some numbers asap!!

Cheers!!

Can anyone tell me more on the 61mm or point me to some info on it. Im more interested in spool time compared to say the 30r and 35r mainly the differences in the 2 compared to it.

Its a precision 6152re turbo. R indicates dual ball bearing and e indicates compressor cover. The size is very similar to Garrett GT35r.

On xianoni's ETS61mm with stock cam hit 23-24psi by 4800rpm on pump gas I believe. That's about the spool time for most gt35r's with .69A/R hotside.

30r on the other hand (assuming you're talking about 3076r) will spool faster in expense of some top end power.

To my understanding, 61mm performs very similar to gt35r but comes at cheaper price.

So I guess you could get a 6152rs?

The compression test did not determine the fault.
They are two completely unrelated items.

The low oil pressure was due to a completely different reason, unrelated to the kit or the install. It came in that way. he was well aware of the problem.
