When I swapped to the AEM standalone it was WAY lopey... Just probably because they wouldnt ever idle right with the stock maf.

Can you confirm if the M3 intake cam with its 11.6mm lift is a direct 'plug and play' without us needing to check the piston to valve clearance?

i recieved the M3s yesterday, will install them and dyno/tune the car tomorrow
i currently have the the GT3076R, with Mynes performance's "madussa" exhaust manifold, one step colder plugs, 780 injectors, and the HFS-5
as of now.. car is putting 432hp on the wheels, with 380trq at 26.9psi
stock ECU, stock Block
Mitch at vivid racing says, those M3s gonna add insane power gains to my car.. he says he might be getting me close to the 500 mark, with 30psi.. we will see
i will ask mitch to post the dyno sheet for me, like he did the last time..

i know upgraded valve springs are required for the m3 cams, what about retainers though? do i need to change them out too?

looking at a set of m3s with the cosworth valve spring set.

thanks in advance for any inputs.

As far as I know the valve springs and ret. go hand in hand. If you upgrade one you should do the other. I'm not sure, but I would think you would have too.

I now have my M3's going in this week, so I'll be posting my results with them as soon as I can.
