hey guys i need help! sputtering and low power problem!

hey guys, i drive an 2003 evo 8, and i just installed the pregapped NGK BPR7es in the car. AFter i went for a drive, the car starts sputtering and it feels like its going to die when i start breaking, what can the problem be? whenever i accelerate it runs fine, but when i break for a stop, the car sputters and feels like it doesn't have enough power to keep on.

I had the same problem with my iridium plugs. The gap was way off even though they were supposably pre-gapped.

Do you have any work done to the car? The gap should be set to 32 at stock and 24 when increasing boost and ignition timing. do you have management or evo scan?

does the tightness of the sparkplug matter? i screwed it in not too loose, but not too tight.

Set your gap to 24-27 on the gapping tool. And yes, them being loose will affect the way you car runs.
