Lancer Evo Oils

Have you ever tried this topic?, what oil type do you think is better for the following items (EVO IV-VI):

1.- Trasfer Gear Case
2.- VCU Center Differential
3.- Rear differential

By the other hand, what is the recommended period of time in order to verify the drive shaft and universal joint in the GSR series.

thanx,

I would check your owners manual or call Mitsubishi. I know in my owners manual it shows all of the specifics for my car.

Yes, i know, the problem here is those car were not oficially sold. We imported those cars directly from Japan as second hand units.

The Lancer GSR series has a simplified drive train when comparing with the EVo series (specially with the EVO IV-VI series). EVO VII (japan spec) is a complete different matter because of the use of and Center Active Differential + Automatic Yaw Control and all the electronics involved in that.
