HKS EVC VI set up
HKS EVC VI set up
I have fitted a HKS EVC VI to my JDM IX in preperation for a Mellon tune. Other mods include apexi induction, fuel pump and full 3" decat. Prior to these mods car was boosting at 16.7 psi and holding it comfortly.
I have installed the evc and am having trouble setting it up and calibrating it. When doing initial setup the instuctions say to set standard boost, so for my car this would be 16.7psi when i drive the car it spikes up around the 18.6 - 18.9 mark but generally holds lower. Once i enter the boost at 16.7 psi and then get the chance to sort the corellation coefficient i reduce the percentage from 100% to 90% but still the boost peaks/spikes at 18.6 psi.
When i flash the mellon tune over and then after inital setup try to turn the boost up to 23psi, the evc manages 19.8psi but doesn't seem to hit 23psi.
So can anyone help me set this EVC up? I guess i must be getting the inital setup wrong as other people seem to have success and joy with this BC. The unit was installed professionally by a local Japanes Performance car centre so i am sure that all the pipes and wires are plumbed in properly. HELP

there is a thing where the number ranges from 0-200 and that set it alittle higher if you want more boost, i think it should be set at 100, just bump it up. just click the bottom button and then set your thing
