PS. Looks pretty though, so after it doesn't work, it can be used as a paper weight!

+1 my friend put one on his Soup, with the mani and picked up 100 hp. His previous TB was the bottle neck though.

what does there welding on manifolds have to do with the throttle body they are selling? some people are quick to judge considering they are selling their products on eBay.

some of you guys said to get the BBK, wilson, accufab and that there cheaper and can come in 70mm and 75mm throttle bodies. but do they bolt right up to the stock intake manifold and use all factory sensors and plug and play like this ebay 70mm throttle body??????

No they dont use the stock IAC valve or the TPS sensor. I guess that is the plus side to this ebay one. But the Wilson IMO the best made by far is i believe $250. Then you can get all the sensors for no more then $100 i would say. But i dont believe they bolt up to the stock intake manifold.

BTW there intake manifold would be interesting to test out. The main shape of the plenum looks like the JUN and Hypertune but the runners look to be very short.

They are made in china, we have the same cr#p over(Australia) here no one uses them for the fear of a poor quality TB jamming and putting you into a wall.

The only throttle body's I would ever consider putting on an EVO are the following:

-stock TB (free, all u need for bolt ons)
-stock ported throttle body (65mm) ($300 from Buschur)
-Q45 90mm Throttle Body ($40-$90 from ebay)

From past experiences I would not recommend Accufab, BBK, Edelbrock, Wilsons, or any of the companies that make the 5.0 70/75mm throttle bodies. They are not designed for boost. I have broken 2 Throttle Body shafts on the 75mm BBK and I know Albert from DV/DT Fab broke the shaft on his accufab, but he ended up making a stronger shaft.

So basically unless you want ever last ounce of hp and you already have a 35r or bigger with an EMS, stick with the stock throttle body or stock ported throttle body. I believe 06MR went 9.1 on stock throttle body. Really no reason to upgrade unless your at that point.

Just my .02

Sorry to not agree with you to a certain extent. But the Wilson actually is the only throttle body that is made for a turbo application. But you are right that the Accufab, BBK are not. You do realize that the Q45 was not designed for a turbo application also right? But the Q45 is a very good alternative also. Just a FYI for ya.

Forgot to mention that I had a Wilsons on my 37r 2g, huge boost leak where the shaft comes out to the wheel. That is why I switched to the BBK and then I found problems with that. Then I finally made the change to the Q45 and not only did it idle 10 time better I never had any problems with it. Just speaking from experience. No reason for people go through the $700 I went through, when it can be done right the first time with a Q45 for literally $60.
