Best BOV

I've searched a lot but im still not sure which bov or bv to go with. I'm planning on doing a e85 conversion and I want run 26-28 psi depending on how the tuner feels the car is responding. It seems the aps is solid and maybe the forge rs? or could i just do a metal 9 bv and that psi? thanks

i think the 9 dv holds around 25 psi, i think your best bet is to go with forge rs.

I've heard nothing but great things about the APS piece.

WORKS dv has worked well for me. Holds lots of boost without sacrificing driveability.

+1 That's what I would go with. I believe it is a "twin vent."

Mellon and I both run the APS.

He boosts 30psi with no problems.

Crush the IX DV and it will hold more boost or there is always the Gus Mod

My only gripe with the APS was the adjustment screw on the top leaked around the threads....I boost leak tested a locals car with one and the thing just hissed at 20psi and up.

He decided to just put a IX DV on instead of messing with it....FYI: I would def. leak test it and if its leaking maybe try and seal the threads up on it - probably would fix it.

Thanks

Thanks guys. I think I might just go with the APS. I do have a 1g right now that I was thinking about crushing but I dunno if it will hold that kind of psi? thanks again

I use the tial bov. I run 24psi on pump and 31.4psi on race gas and it performs great. Ive never had any boost issues at any load or speed. It works great for speed density. Im not sure if thats what youre running or not.
