nice... good to know your in Maryland... do you head porting for other cars? I have a 20V VW 1.8T motor and I might like a head ported...

Our JAM Spec-Stage III shortblock package would be perfect for your HP demands.

In fact we have them on Special for the entire month of October!! Hope this is helpful

We're running a special right now through February 5% off all stage cylinder heads and 5% off St.1,2 and 3 shortblocks.

If i was to buy a 2.3 ...which 1 is better ? Short or longblock ?

A shortblock is just the block, crank and pistons (bottom end). A longblock is the block and head I think (full motor).

A shortblock for your EVO consists of the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, rings, engine bearings-assembled.

The longblock is everything from the valve cover to the oil pan, assembled and ready for use
