50 trim dilemma

K so just got a monster deal on a 50 trim kit. problem is it doesn't come with an intake and the stock won't fit it of course. Where can I get a setup for this? I plan on using the stock maf and having my local tuner flash my ecu for the new turbo set up? What have you guys done to overcome the intake issue?

If you don't have an aftermarket intake, you might need one. you will also need a reducing coupler that fits the compressor housing of your 50trim and reduces down to the size of your intake pipe. most shops carry silicone couplers, if not you can easily find one online. good luck!

you could probably call some of the supporting vendors on here that i'm sure have these couplers in stock: ETS, Buschur Racing, AMS, etc..

you still need to decide on what intake you will use.

found a complete set of intercooler piping and intake made by Injen. Anybody ever used this? 350.00 for the entire set.

Intake you can easily have a shop make one for you even with MAF adapter.
It should not be a problem at all.

For Intercooler pipings, I would strongly recommend going with AMS, Buschur or ETS.

You will also need a set of larger injectors.

Good luck

You don't need 880s for 50trim.

You can use 780cc injecotors also if you want. OR get the 880's just incase you go bigger in turbo.

Thanks for not answering your PM's or voicemails, Midnightsuns, I have been leaving you since you told me to hold the 35r kit until the weekend. I have now fended off 2 sales because you said you were DEFINITELY going to buy it. Since you won't answer my pm's or voicemails let's see if you respond to posts? GL with your 50trim!

The injen kit definitely has some fitment issues, personally I would suggest a better kit like ETS, AMS whatever. Just from personal experience it would save you heartache.
