Rear diff prob...

Hey guys just got back from a NASA HPD3 event and the car was doing great all day till the last half a lap I felt vibration from the rear. I thought it was tires being out of balance....

I just got back (15 min drive from the track) and I look all around the rear and I see the rear diff oil drain plug was loose and fluid was everywhere.

My question is do you think the diff is done and needs replaced? Like i said only half a lap and a 15 min drive home. I know Im gonna try putting more fluid in and see if vibration goes away but Im no guru on diffs and need some opinions.

Thanks for any educated answers!!

Shoot a PM to GEARS (Jon from TRE), he should be able to give you a solid idea of what might be wrong. He also rebuilds the rear diff's for more lockup and they kick ***.
