Turbos on pump gas

I finally have the money to purchase a turbo kit...for the past couple months i've been looking into a couple turbo kits and read tons of threads. Basically i want a good street turbo...it will mostly be on 93 octane and 23psi.

My main question is how much of a power difference will there be between lets say...a 50 trim to a hta3076 to a 3065 on PUMP gas 93 oct. (no meth) 23psi. I would not mind the extra lag if the power will be there up top...i know at higher boost with meth/race gas the bigger turbos will out perform the smaller 50 trim...but im asking on pump only is there really that great of an increase in power and how much would it be between those turbos or some other ones?

yea the hta3076 is really whats catching my eye now, it is a little more pricey...but like i said....would it make a considerable amount of power more than a 50trim on just pump?

If I was going to fork out for a kit and all the ancilliaries anyway, then I would just go big from the git-go. I´d opt for an HTA 35 kit right off the bat. Otherwise, since by now I know my own self, eventually I´d get the urge to trade in that smaller 30R or 3065 for a fullhouse HTA 35. But, that´s just me. Besides, the HTA 35R has been proven by Buschur and others in having no difficulty in reaching and surpassing 500 WHP on pump.

I would recommend a HTA3076 or a 3065 for pump. An AMS 50trim yeilds nice power too.

Buschur tuned a HTA 35 equipped Evo to run w/o knock at 30# on 93 pump. The more restrictive hotsides of the 3076 and 3065 create higher combustion chamber temps. When tuning to the edge on pump gas, you want to avoid high combustion chamber temps, so that you can run more boost and timing. The HTA 35 is just a colder blowing turbo than the other two. The idea is to run as much boost and timing as possible on pumpgas which has relatively low knock resistance. He won´t get big numbers at 23 PSI.

I think the hta35r might be a little too big for staying on pump gas, no meth. Im basically trying to find a decent turbo that will perform well on pump...i wouldn't mind the extra lag of a bit bigger turbo if the power will be there up top but some really only shine on race gas/meth and aren't a whole lot quicker than lets say a 50trim on pump.

the green was one of the first turbos i was going to get...but after reading tons of threads and hearing people say its not really that big of an upgrade from a evo ix turbo it makes me wanna go a little bigger.

I'm in your same boat pretty much, since I only run 93 pump and would rarely use any race gas and I don't like meth too much. Still that damn HTA 35r keeps coming up as a great option, unless this new FP turbo is something stellar.

talking about the new fp turbo...there has been lots of rumors about the red coming out or maybe a new green...i read in another thread someone said theres no new green...well i emailed Forced Performance last night about the red and this is what they said:
"The Red doesnt look like its going to be in the works for a while. Keep your eye out for our new Green "

More turbos to add in my list of which one to get.
