I have OIL LEAK somewhere<<<<<----Please Help!

I just changed my o2 sensor and I noticed an OIL LEAK SPOT next to the oil pan. It look like its coming from top. I noticed this couple weeks ago but I just wipe it off. I thought it was just a spill when I was changing the oil.
Although my garage floor has no spot im still worried where is it coming from???

Please excuse...a lot of pics some are just double but closer.

Looks like your front main seal... In layman's terms, the seal behind your crankshaft pulley...

Cheers-

few things to check:

Look at the backside of your valvecover right near the crankshaft position sensor plug. The gasket could be leaking there, as well as the gasket on the oil cap itself maybe.

Other possibilities include a camshaft seal, balancer shaft seal, front main seal, or the oil pan itself could be leaking some right there.

Oil has a weird tendency to follow odd paths.

By looking at the orange sealant on the oil pan, I would guess that your resealing of the pan was ineffective.

it looks like the oil pan. if during the rebuild they replaced the gasket there there shouldn't be a need to add sealant to it. well atlst it doesn't seem to leak that bad.

um, theres no oil pan "gasket" you use sealant to seal it.

After cleaning it off....I haven't seen any leak for almost 2k miles. Should I still bother? Oil level is the same too.

You're probably fine then... If levels not dropping and you're not messing up the driveway then you're okay.

Cheers!

Driveway is still dry I even left the car in the garage for 2 days and not a single drop of oil. When I install the fluidampr I will still double check it.
