I've cleaned the MAF sensor.
I haven't thought of the fuel pump possibility though. My fuel pump recently has begun to start to make a lot of noise. Noise I never heard before, I mean I know theres the general noise it makes when you turn the key to the on position, but this new noise I'm hearing from it is significantly louder and is easily heard over my exhaust. I was told this happens when it is warm outside, but it's never happened in the 1.5+ years of my owning the EVO.

Maybe the knock sensor is going ...Just a thought.

Definitely check the fuel pump.
Also, check your connection from the O2 housing to the downpipe. I had a leak there and my Evo ran like **** until I fixed it. Knocked no matter what was changed in the tune, idled a little rough, etc.

Were you able to hear the leak at the O2 housing?
^ Barely. I noticed it when I went to put my eBay housing on. One of the bolts was completely gone, and there was a very small amount of build up around the area where that bolt would go. After fixing it, my car ran great.

Update:
Just got my compression test done it was
140 - 150 - 145 - 145
And there were/are no exhaust leaks.
Any other variables from anyone?

It's very random, but check the vacuum line in the back/underside on the TB thats connected to the EGR. I received knock too because I was hitting different load sites. When mine came off it idled horribly. In fact, check all your vacuum lines since you've had the intake mani off and the TB too.

Actually the intake mani wasn't removed. It was just port matched where it meets the TB (don't worry all precautions were taken at the intake mani)
I'm beginning to think it's the IACV for my idling issues.
I'll take a look for that vacum line SWOLN for my WOT issues, thanks for the insight!

When you check for it it feels like a round disk with a line pointing toward the passenger side of the car, there should be a vac line connected to it. and you have to do it by touch for the most part. Good Luck !

SWOLN, thanks, I appreciate it! I was wondering though, is the vacuum line covered with any type of loom? And is it supposed to be connected to a brass/metal t? I am speaking of the vacuum hose you say came disconnected on your car.
I'll do this first thing in the morning, the engine is still warm lol

if you did a boost leak test properly, and it didn't leak, the EGR vacuum line by default must be connected properly. a boost leak test will show if this line is off immediately as you wont be able to hold even 1 psi with that line off. also, it will throw a CEL if it is off for EGR insufficient flow.
