i know it has been dicussed before but do you think this loud abnoxious clicking noise is the heat shield because it is only coming from the drivers side and i cant hear it all the time but i did notice it more when the air is on

 

Its not the heatshield because when you depress the clutch the clicking noise will Magically Disapear and let go it will come back.
Go try it out and see if it goes away
