Idle after ported intake manifold and 65mm TB
Has anyoone experience fluctuating idle after the ported intake manifold and 65mm TB. I had the pair installed a few days ago. now my idle is pretty weird. every now and then the idle seems to get stuck around 1100, then drops to about 950-1000. it fluctuates from time to time. and every now and then the afr idles in the 12s.

i have not retuned for the parts yet. im waiting on a few more parts before i retune, and the tranny and clutch is coming out next week. so im not really driving it. but i noticed today that the idle is pretty erratic. i believe the tps sensor was adjusted, at first start up the idle was at like 1500, the tps was adjusted and got it down to 1000 i beleive, but now the screw is turned down as much as it can.
I recently had a similar problem however i have a modified BBK 75 mm unit.
After getting the car back together for some minor mods i noticed that the idle would get stuck quite hi 2000 rpm. Thought it was a tps issue as well and had my tuner double check everything w/ the AEM and we were able to get it back down to 1100rpm.
The reason i had the TB off was to fix a slight sticking problem and what we think happened is that the butterfly plate was mis-aligned and possible wore away at some of the tb wall causing air to slide by once we re-aligned it
Haven't had a chance to get a new BBK TB housing to swap yet but just giving some info to maybe pinpoint your problem.
First double check for vac leaks and then just be sure that the plate is sealing properly all the way around.
Hope you find the culprit.
