Just got my Buschur 35r turbo kit in!!
humm. id think that is the problem bc there are people out there that are making 500+ with this kit! they rnt havn the issue i am
think about it..if it didnt knock before and with the more power and torque, it twists the motor back and forth alot more...look under the car to see how close it really and and see if there are rub marks...My MR does it because theres about a screwdriver wide space between the downpipe and trans and there are rub marks

if i were you i would just drive down to buschur...cut things short..and have him tune it on AEM...believe you will not regret...

I have also a knock problem with my Evo IX last week.
I hear at 3500 RPM and 0.2 bar (3psi) a knock and I see an oil pressure drop from 8.5 bar (before 2 weeks) to 6.5 bar (now) at full throttle....
Probably I have rod bearings problems...
I will buy a set of ACL or Cosworth rod bearings and ARP rod bolts (stock motor) and I hope to solve it and tune it again...
Do you have an oil pressure gauge???
Is everything OK with oil pressure?

my new setup is making another 100hp more and has the T31 2.5" outlet as well. I am trapping 108 in the 1/8th on that outlet
Bradon, I am sure its something stupid. I would just take at look at the easy things first, downpipe, dumptube etc.

you obviously don't know anything then. My car made 465 on a mustange dyno on stock motor with one of those cast manifold BR setups.

Its all in the parts combination. I dont even know what you're talking about with the 2 1/2" downpipe comment. The cast kit doesn't even come with a downpipe. The tubular comes with our 3" downpipe.

The Kits are great. For the Price they are very hard to beat.

put it this way everything went wronge to the max. pretty dissapointed. ok so get the car up on the dyno does a few pulls on pump gas and cant get it over 400 on pump. he told me there is a really bad knock and my car isnt maken any power that it should of been. which sucks bc i have no clue what to do. so he says there is a possibility that the dump tube is hitting ur exhust so we fix that the knock went back to normal or w.e then did another pull and knock was all f*** up. we put race gas in to see if this work fix the problem but nothing. so he told me my car is f***ed up and he doesnt really now what the problem could be with this knock he said i could be anything. so know im here just thinking what can i do. just sucks. so know i got to look over everthing and see if we can find the problem then he was telling me it could be my costhworth cams or the lifters all sorts of stuff. so i really dnt know what to do, if anyone has any suggestions or anything that could help me out that would be great to pm me thanks. i hopefully i can find out this problem and bring it back to the dyno and get my car settle out. i think the most i made was like

yeah that is what im going to do. just saven up for an aem and then going to make an appointment at buschur and trailer my evo out there. the last time i got tuned by al he did my car real good made good #'s. then this time it was just out of control dnt want to get heavly into it all. bc not only should an employee get treated like this, just worse experiance iv had. wont be going there any time soon. lost 450 dollars for my car to make the same power with a stock turbo.
