I run the Koyo race radiator no issues, fits very tight, actually my radiator fan keeps hitting the intercooler pipe, anyone know how to fix this besides getting a slim fan?

Do you have the stock UICP/hose, or an aftermarket UICP? Do the rotating fan blades hit the UICP, or is it just the fanshroud rubbing against the UICP?

Exactly which kit(s) are you refering to? On my Evo, with a bolton Green turbo, which has identical external dimensions to a factory IX 16G turbo and is mounted on the stock cast iron manifold, the turbo's compressor housing hit the fan shroud. So, I had to take the dremel to the edge of the shroud very slightly. Then, I had to spray that edge with black paint to protect this edge from rusting where I'd done the grinding.

Also, I had the shroud touching the UICP. The fan blades themselves didn't touch, just the outer shroud. This to could be cured also by taking the Dremel tool to the shroud, but I was too lazy to take the fan off again, so I just removed the rubber grommets in the two top mounting posts of the radiator and filled the void with black silicone and that was enough to keep the radiator from moving back toward the UICP.

EDIT: I may be the only one that's had these slight fitment/clearance problems with the KOYO. Now, in all fairness, my Koyo has functioned flawlessly by lowering coolant temps.

It's a nice unit that's definitely worth a look if you are considering the CBRD and other aftermarket alternatives.
