Need help with P0172

Ok i need some help, car wont stop throwing a rich condition code (p0172) and i dont know why. I have buschur stages 1-4, cosworth 272, ets 3.5inch exhaust (no cat),megan manifold, walbro 255, stock injectors, smc alky injection with m15 nozzel, and car was tune by Al using pruvens dyno. car has zero boost leaks, seems to run fine exept it runs rich at idle. any info at all would be very helpful

Its your cams that are causing the rich code sir....

how do I know? every year I switch back to the stock cams/maf/ecu/injectors just to pass my obd2 inspection and get my window sticker.....

I've experiemented cuz I too was throwing the po172 code, and narrowed it down to the cams...

Yes I've changed quite a few things since my last tune for which you see the dyno chart in my sig. Since then I've added:

lighter 2pc Baer Racing brake rotors
lighter 17X8 Enkei RPF1s
got a wheel alignment meant for street/highway/drag
and will soon be adding a Buschur Racing ported IM and 65mm t-body (which I haver had sitting here for months)

after I install the IM and t-body I will go for a retune and see how much more I can make with more boost, lighter wheels/rotors, and the 65mm t-body and ported IM....
