AFI Twin Scroll Gt3076r kit.... 56k click before your nap...

First off it has been a while since I went on my Twin scroll quest. I just moved and everything has been crazy lately, however she is in. Tuning is still in progress via Mitch from Vivid Racing.. So far I'm still at wastegate pressure 20lbs, and she feels nice. I am running twin synapse gates and they rock so far(yes I took a chance, and I will do a full review in time). Rock solid boost and it is adjustable by the way you connect the vaccuum lines.

Anyhow moving on, first impressions of the kit.. Wow.. Just wow. The welds are beautiful, and the manifold is just a work of art.. I'm not sure I got a good enough picture of it... It is simply AMAZING. Moving on, it has a 3 inch v-band o2 housing, and 3 inch downpipe. Again beautiful. Twin dump tubes make it sound very nice...

Fitment is perfect.. Very very tight but perfect, I could not ask for anything more... I will be doing a comparison of this to my friends AMS gt3076r kit(great kit)... I will also be doing an e-85 tune as well. I will try to get up some final pictures soon, but everythings just crazy right now... Anyhow from initial pulls, full boost appears to come on right at or just before 4k rpms. Part throttle, feels very similar to my stock turbo, but I will have more info soon.. Until then enjoy

Here a few more crappy cell phone pictures.. I can't find my camera in all my boxes...

Great looking set up. Keep us posted on the waste gates and how the TS set up performs.

It is a .78 T3 twin scroll hotside.. It is pretty much the only one easily found. Eventually if this isn't enough(in a year or so) I will go with a 1.06 a/r t3 hta35r. I am interested to see how the ETS's customers twin scroll .78 hta35r hotside performs... I think it will surge, but that is just my initial thoughts... Hopefully it won't.

It was a prelim kit.. I'm not sure the final pricing.. PM Jesse at AZ-FI. I will tell him to post up some info on it. I can say with some certainty that it is cheaper than AMS's 30r kit. It was also 1k cheaper than another preliminary twin scroll kit that was released recently.

Im with ya...that 1.06 is a **** to get ahold of...I think it is ideal for the Evo setup though.

I hear you rev, I am more than happy with the kit. I will let everyone know when I get some dyno numbers. Probably within a couple weeks. I am very happy with the spool so far.
