i have an odd boost leak anyone with ideas please?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i've checked the car up and down trying to find a leak hole lose clamp and cant find anything i guess next is a boost leak tester maybe? where can i find one and does anyone have ideas where i can look for my problem?

1st gear only maxes at 15 psi
2nd and 3rd hit 18ish and drops to 15-16 right after it peaks
4th stays close to holding boost at 19 but looks like maybe its hitting 18
5th holds 19 from what i can see while driving
im running stock boost no boost controller. jus a fuel pump, intake, tbe and tune

car only has 10k miles on it any ideas? i really appreciate any help

Almost sounds like your bov is leaking, or your wastegate flapper is sticking open, but your car is really new and the ix bov's shouldnt have problems. Go do a boost leak test and see where it's leaking from.

Throttle Body

My IX RS is having similar issues. I'm not really sure what's going on. I might take it to the stealership since it's still under warranty.

give me an idea of how to improve that post you gave me. thats a great How To post! all i know is that i did the tear down (since im getting the parts tomarrow), and im pissed now! lol i was pulling off my upper ic pipe (buschur) and it hit the sensor where the line hooks from the bottom of the intake to the sensor....PISSED now i have another part to order and i pulled it out and tore it apart and it looks like a 100$ part it looks like some sort of valve and i broke the plastic tab off that the line hooks to. SUX!
