My cousins evo viii has 60k miles.

We plan on changing the head gasket, timing belt, waterpump, we are also installing cams and valvesprings and retainers. In what order should we perform these mods. Also we are planning to remove the head. Is there any guides for replacing the valvesprings and retainers by removing the head. All i could find is guides on installing them in car.

 

You have a torque wrench and a spring compressor for the valve springs ?

If not you wont be gettin very far. And I have seen a lot of write ups pertaining to what your looking for just do a quick search.
